It has been seven
months since July 4th, 2012. For most of you, that makes you think
of fireworks and independence. For us, it makes us smile and remember that day
as more special. That was the day our little one was born.
Seven months old,
already! She hasn't started crawling yet, but that is probably due to the fact
that she really doesn't like being on her belly. Whenever she is on her belly,
she rolls over to her back. She's got that move down pat.
She is sure
talking, baby talk, that is. I haven't heard any words, but she is definitely letting
us know that she has an opinion. She likes to have her share of the
conversation. Especially, when she is talking to her Mimi.
Our Gracie girl
has started eating solids. I'm not too sure why they call them solids, they are
more like smudge. So, I should say, our little one has started eating smudge.
Sweet potato smudge, broccoli smudge, green bean smudge. Some she has really
enjoyed…others not so much.
She has been sleeping through the night, mostly. After being sick for the last week or so, she has been up at night. Still, she is one of the best reasons for waking up at night.
Being a mom is the best job in the world. I can't imagine anything I would rather be doing.

ReplyDeleteAgree, agree, agree!! There is nothing better than being a mama. My babies warm my heart all day long. My sweet daughter was born on July 5th. She will be thirteen this July. :) For the first probably 7 years of her life she thought the fireworks on the 4th were to celebrate that the next morning would be her birthday. We still say that every time we see fireworks on the 4th. Happy 7 months Gracie!!!!! xoxo
