#9 Read through the Bible in a Year

One of my goals for this year is to read through the Bible. To be honest, I have NEVER read through the Bible before. I have read many parts of the Bible many times, but each time I start reading the whole Bible, I just stop. 


This time, my husband is reading with me so I have someone keeping me accountable. I have LOVED reading with him. It makes me really think about what I am reading as well, since I send him my observations in email. Also, if I have questions, I can ask him and he can usually help me understand what I am reading.

The verse I am memorizing this week comes from Matthew 5:16 - "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father, who is in heaven."
