We have an
elliptical machine in our house and I LOVE it. As you can see, I get to workout
any time of day, and in any kind of outfit. (Aren't my slippers super fashionable?)
I wish we lived in
a place where we could take hikes; I miss my hiking days from Seattle.
My workout goal
for this year is to use the elliptical at least 3x a week (although many times,
it is more than that).
I have struggled
in the past with body image, I know that is an issue that plagues most women.
Still, I want to remain fit. For myself, for my husband, for health reasons.

Did you know that
keeping yourself fit is also an act of respect to your husband? That thought
just blew my mind. I want to respect my man, he deserves so much of my
admiration. What an easy way to show it, by keeping myself in shape.

you have any goals to get fit this year? Or to work out more? How will you
achieve them?


Working out more is one of my fitness goals for 2013. I rented a locker out at the gym for the semester, which will make it easier to go since I won't have to pack my things every time! I'm planning to run a 5k in the fall, so that motivates me as well!
ReplyDeleteI am a chronic race-runner. As long as I am registered for a race, I'll run, but if there's a lull in that, I don't do well at all. I want to become better about being consistent--with or without a race on the schedule.
