- Kiss Him – I'm not talking about the quick little peck on the cheek that you give each other when you leave in the morning. Really grab your man and kiss him, like you did when you were dating.
- Write him a note – It doesn't have to be long, just a quick little note that tells him you are thinking of him. *Bonus points if you use the word stud, handsome or sexy.
- Look into his eyes…and linger. How long has it been since you REALLY looked into your husband's eyes? I had a friend who told me about making out with your eyes. Use that as a mental image the next time you look at your man.
- Laugh with him. It's amazing how empowered men feel when their woman laughs at their jokes or antics. (As tempting as it is, rolling you eyes would be on the "Ways to turn off your husband" list)
- Praise him in public – Look for ways to speak highly of your hubby when in the presence of others
- Serve him – Sometimes when my husband is mowing outside, I bring him a glass of water. Or maybe I will leave some water on the counter with a note attached.
- Look good – If you spend all day in your pajamas with bed head, it is a little more challenging for your husband to find you attractive than when you get up and make an effort to look good for him. Even if you are spending all day at home. #Guilty
- Be interested – What is he interested in? (If you don't know, then FIND OUT!) Show interest in what he enjoys. Offer to join him in his interests.
- Make it special – The next time you make dinner, light some candles, put on some music, wear a nice dress, or break out the china.
- Say thank you – Your husband does things for you, look for them and then thank him.
- Snuggle up to him – (self explanatory)
- Offer forgiveness – I'm not sure if this falls into the category of flirting, but it seems that it would be hard to flirt with your man if you are bitter against him. This is the hardest one to do, but is probably the BEST one out of this entire list.
What do YOU do to flirt with your man?
Very sweet post, Becky! I love looking for more ways to encourage and show my husband affection. One thing I did this past Valentine's Day: I cut out 100 hearts, wrote one thing I loved about him on the inside of each one, then folded them and put them in a jar. He grabs one out every morning and carries it with him through the day. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that idea! I may have to do that one, it's okay if I steal it? :)
DeleteI love this. I appreciate when married women make posts like this because I learn a lot from them. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you can join my Twitter Link Up! It's a fun way to know more people and get a few more followers in Twitter. Just go to the link below:

Good ideas! It's so easy to forget to make an effort. And a little effort can make all the difference.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Sometimes it's so easy to get stuck in the day-to-day routine of life that we miss opportunities to really show our love to our spouse. Thanks for some great reminders and ideas!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, it is easy to get into a comfortable rhythm. I want to never be too comfortable in our marriage - meaning - I want to ALWAYS be working and trying on our marriage. Tis hard to do, though.
DeleteVisiting from Covered in Grace. LOVE that brown dress! I also have a 30 Before 30, and I love to find other bloggers who have similar lists! Mine is at http://www.shapinguptobeamom.com/p/30-before-30.html
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Thank you for sharing!

Love #8! I always do this with my husband. Even though I would prefer not to talk about fishing, I still do because I know he gets excited when I act interested. He loves to talk so I just sit back and listen. We have had the best conversations.
ReplyDeleteThis made me smile. He talks...you listen...it's a great conversation. I have had those before! :) When my hubby starts talkin construction I try to show interest, but I often have no clue what he is saying!
DeleteI guess I'm a pretty good flirt, then! :) One thing I do is purposely make his favorite meals...the ones that I don't share his fondness for. There's lots of little things we can do to keep falling in love with each other...you covered quite a few of them!
ReplyDeleteI love that! The only problem in this household is that if I make meals that I don't like but he does...they usually are heart attack kind of meals. He likes his southern cookin' :)
DeleteGreat post! I am following from Monday Meet up, and by the way, your baby is adorable!

Thank you so much! I really like her! :)
DeleteFor my husband, just sitting next to him is flirting. He loves "shoulder to shoulder" time. :) Great post love! No. 1 and No. 4 are my faves!
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny, my hubby is that way too. I want "eye time" but he would rather sit next to me! Men are so different than us!
DeleteGreat post! The listening to him one is fun on my end, even though what he is talking about is incredibly boring, how excited he gets over it is so entertaining that he doesn't realize I'm laughing at how cute he is, instead of the prank he pulled at work :)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, want to really "score some points"? The last time he was changing my oil I went out there and laid on the dirty ground with him and let him show me what he was doing. I think his head grew a couple inches!
Ohhh, I really need to try that to get some extra points. I think the car needs the oil changed...
DeleteI cook him a meal with loads of veggies, and I spray one of his favourite scents to bed, wearing a short, silky lingerie and make sure I get in bed without the quilt over me...and then...Ha!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being featured at Monday Meet Up.
Really great post!
Have a great weekend!
Great idea! He must like his veggies!
DeleteGreat points for me to put away for when I'm married. :)
ReplyDeleteBtw, CUTE pic of you and your husband!
Thank you, sweet friend! The key is to keep working at it, even when it gets hum drum.
